January 2026 Update – Surveys and Insights

We are introducing new features to help you understand your community and gather useful insights. This update brings survey functionality, better analytics, and improved equality monitoring.


Surveys Now Available

We're introducing Surveys, a premium feature that helps you track how participants are progressing through their learning journey and measure the real impact of your programmes. Instead of manually checking in with everyone, Navigatr automatically sends surveys to participants at the perfect moments: when they start a pathway, when they complete it, and 12 weeks later to see long-term results.

This means you get consistent, valuable data about programme effectiveness without the admin headache, while participants get to see their own progress and development over time. If you're interested in enabling this feature for your organisation, contact Navigatr Support.

We take privacy seriously; All survey data is anonymised and handled according to Navigatr's privacy policy. Equality monitoring (special category) questions are optional and the data is never shared with any organisation.



Better Statistics and Analytics

We are expanding our analytics to give you clearer insights into your community's performance. New statistics cards across admin pages show total counts, trends, completion rates, and attendance metrics with up/down indicators. These improvements help you make data-driven decisions and understand the impact of your programmes.


Equality Monitoring

We are introducing a dedicated Equality Monitoring section in user settings. This new section helps you capture important demographic data with streamlined data collection. Fields only appear when relevant, making it easier for members to complete whilst keeping the process simple.

This helps you ensure your programmes are accessible and inclusive whilst maintaining member privacy.


Better Admin Experience

We are making several improvements to make managing your Navigatr account easier and more efficient:

  • Empty States - Empty state handling across all admin pages with helpful guidance, create buttons, and upgrade prompts where applicable

  • Responsive Design - Better layouts for ultrawide, medium, and mobile screen sizes with improved grid layouts for statistics

  • Tables - Improved lazy loading, sticky columns, and text handling for large datasets

  • Badge Improvements - Badges can now use pathways as a criteria type, and improved badge ranking factors in QA status and design standards


Better Performance and Reliability

We are making improvements to platform performance and reliability:

  • Caching - Improved caching for activity, pathway, provider, and community configs for faster page loads

  • Error Handling - More helpful error messages and improved exception handling throughout the platform

  • Validation - Improved form validation and permission checks for data integrity

These improvements help pages load faster and make the platform more reliable.
